What an exciting day yesterday in the bowl at Exposure 2014 at Encinitas YMCA! Loved seeing old friends making new friends and most of all knowing fashion is on the rise at the skate park! See the girls in the pink shorts – skating fashionistas in the making – meant so much that my neighbor Chloe not only came but brought her cousin & friends.

Fabulous week for blue hair – definitely more love than hate for blue this week!
I think of myself as a dog person – one of my best friends is Norm the Dog. But in the name of fashion, I had to pick a cat over him. I was loving the Macbeth t-shirts at the flag ship store in Encinitas. It was so hard to decide, but I had budget constraints, so choose I did. Look how cute that cat in the general uniform is – the dog was a pug (I think) adorable too check them all out online or at the store. My tip in general for T’s stay away from grey – they show sweat the worst.
The t-shirt above is white – it’s totally ok to have gray pictures – white & black shirts work best for hiding the sweat & always have a spare t or 2.
Skating doesn’t come naturally to most people – it sure didn’t for me. And yes I quit a million times – especially when I thought people were laughing at me. Next week I’m going to skate in Exposure – probably the largest Women’s Skating charity event in the world – I’m not doing it because I’ve become a great skater. I’m doing it because if I’m serious about seeing more girls skate – I have to be the change I want to see. I’m hoping girls see me and give it a try. If just one girl starts or sticks with skating – well that last place I get will be an even bigger VICTORY!
I’m always on the hunt for products to fall in love with. Once I do I’m a loyalist. Articles of Society have earned my love. I skate in them and I’ve seen people do yoga in them – they are that versatile. Most importantly they look fabulous in and out of the skate park – win/win. Plus they are available at stores like Nordstrom and still affordable – beyond revolutionary these jeans are MUST HAVES!
