2015 was the first full year for the skatingfashionista & I’m thankful to everyone who made it possible.
I’m ending the year with posts ready for 2016 because there are girls around the world who skateboard and take the time to inspire other girls.
I’m beyond excited that so many girls started to skate in 2015 – thanks PomPom for being such a rad supporter of girls skateboarding.
Special thanks to my coach Neal Mims – I’m so looking forward to the grand opening of Academy Skatepark. He’s been encouraging me since pre-blog.
And a huge thanks to Articles of Society and Arbor Girls who have been with me since the first post & always encourage me to stay true to my mission of more girls skateboarding for fun & keeping it stylish.
You don’t have to skate or be a girl to support #girlscanskate you just have to encourage girls – skateboarding builds a girl’s self-confidence – it’s sport & art – rolling yoga.
See you in 2016 & together we’ll keep it stylish on & off the board!
Isi_campbell shares this rad shot from the new Busso Bowl. And she takes time to share – because she knows more girls skate when they see girls skateboarding and get encouragement. Below she’s on abcnews_au. So on this day it’s hello from Australia!
A skateboarder can be a skateboarder any where – valenflores from Venezuela is now enjoying the beauty of Chile from her board.
What’s the most beautiful place you’ve explored on your skateboard? The picture and stories you share inspire girls all around the world to try skateboarding!
Latelate shows us you can skateboard in the snow or at least with some snow around you – she’s in Verbier, Switzerland and yes she got to skateboard in December.
Where’s the coldest place you skateboarded – when you share you inspire others to skateboard and others just to go outside and get to know their world – inspiration is good!
I’m headed to Woodward West – it might be in California but it gets cold. Forecast says snow – so maybe I’ll be able to skateboard in snow too!
While I’m gone the posts should still keep coming & of course keep sending your pictures of skateboarding for fun & keeping it stylish!
Christina loves skateboarding at Raglan Skate Park in New Zealand. She loves the colorful bowl, snake run and funny grommet banter. Now I want to go to New Zealand too – the more you know the more places there are to go!
We may be done with the 2015 Christmas tree – but we are just getting started with showing all around the world #girlscanskate!
All around the world #girlscanskate! More girls skateboard when they see stylish girls having fun skateboarding. Encouraging others never goes out of style & is one of the greatest gifts you can give.
Lil.sonic shares this skateboarding picture from Stockach, Germany.
It certainly looks beautiful in the South of Germany. Where is the most beautiful skateboarding picture you’ve taken?
Hope you’re keeping up with skatingfashionista on IG too – if you know of a girl in the San Diego area who needs a skateboard be sure to direct message me. I appreciate all the girls and companies like Pom Pom who encourage girls to skateboard. On the 23rd day of December, I feel very confident that together we can inspire more girls to skateboard all around the world!
Yaseminsefik is a broadcaster in Turkey. When I first saw the picture I thought it was the Golden Gate bridge – but if she’s in Turkey it must be the Bosphorus Bridge.
Yes – I learn about geography on my mission to get more girls skateboarding – and yes I had to google to find out the name of the bridge that looks like the Golden Gate. And if I’ve guessed wrong I hope Yasem corrects me.
More girls skateboard when they see stylish girls skateboarding and we are willing to encourage each other in skateboarding, geography & life – hope this post encourages many more girls to share where they are skateboarding.
