Ali has been skating since she’s been 12 – she skates in Downtown Winter Haven – the parking structure is an ideal place to skate and she has some rad videos!

Skateboarding is also her go to transportation for the beach – she’s a Florida girl with skate style & luck – she won those Red Bulls.

Janke Spangenberg is a Ballito skater girl.  Don’t know where Ballito is –  no worries I didn’t either.  Ballito is in South Africa.  As I’m on my mission to get more girls skateboarding for fun – I meet so many more people than I would have and learn about places and things I never new existed.

I saw this board – I loved this board. When I investigated – using my Veronica Mars skills – I found the artist is Melka a tattoo apprentice with a Big Cartel shop and a Rad to the Bone IG. This board was commissioned (I’m all about custom) and I can’t wait to see more of her art.

Oh and of course she skates and is happy to say there are more girls now than when she started. Let’s keep seeing more girls skateboarding and more skateboards designed by girls. Skateboarding is totally sport and art, let’s show the world!

Had the pleasure to spread the word about EXPOSURE Skate yesterday at the Clash at Clairemont – a day of skate, BMX, & Music to benefit Grind for Life & The Mission Valley YMCA/Krause Family Skake and Bike park.

Met hundreds of people who believe girls can skate!  Really hope to see a lot of photos from the girls I met – more girls do sk8 as they see girls sk8ing.  Till next time keep it stylish on & off the board.

Saphi’s a quick learner at skateboarding, a natural at style, and yes she’s in a band: We Are Fourth Avenue. She has talent and style on & off the board – as do so many other girls. Keep sharing your photos and stories – girls are unstoppable when we encourage each other.

Besides longboarding, Anna in Germany loves photography and travel. Today’s travel trip – take your skateboard on all your adventures . Remember your camera too – because more girls skate as they see girls skating.

Southern California to Magdeburg, Germany may be miles apart but both places have girls who keep it stylish on & off the board – where are you skating?

Sunset Mamma is skateboarding and sharing it with others – in this picture with her sons. I love seeing pictures like this because I skateboard with my dad.
